PCS Technoloyg is looking for Helpdesk Coordinator
1 Answer incoming calls from users and log the problem ticket or change management request into tracking system. Respond to emails and process tickets entered by users in Help Desk system.
2 Perform basic troubleshooting and resolution for simple hardware / software problems and provide first level assistance with commercial off-the-shelf software such as Microsoft Office products.
3 Recognize common problems with other systems and provide solutions as documented in knowledge base.
4 Daily activities at the helpdesk
Assign any Registered Service Call tickets not dealt with by the Help Desk to an individual of the proper workgroup.
Answer the phone and regularly check voice mail messages on the Help Desk number. Create a service ticket for each message.
For a better and more efficient analysis of a end users request, if possible, the Help Desk should gather the following basic information:
o A detailed description of the problem.
o The error message, if any.
o The problem occurrences (systematic or random, on one, few or all computers).
o The complete step by step instructions on how to reproduce the problem, if the problem can be reproduced.
o All necessary information about the system and any recent changes in the environment.
Review all Help Desk service calls which are open, waiting on requestor, updated by requestor or waiting on event tickets.
Check Help Desk work order tickets.
